Quick Fix

Rob Sonic Ft. Breeze Brewin

Not For Nothing

Joel Frieders | July 24, 2014

Rob Sonic confuses the balls off me.

Because Roberto Sonic is poetically wriggleschmelting e'ethang the majority of the time, I have a hard time imagining this dude doing regular day to day tasks because of how insane this muthafucker manhandles the English language.

It's like, how would you imagine Shakespeare wiping his ass? What would Shel Silverstein doing his taxes be like? And now... I can't help but ask the question: HOW WOULD ROB SONIC ORDER A BURRITO?

Oh Rob Sonic (sigh), I love everything about him ('cept his personality, what a dick that guy is).

So here be the new single "Not For Nothing", which features Breeze Brewin of the Juggaknots, over production by my BFF Edison, and if you've never listened to Rob Sonic fully clothed, the only opportunity you have with this jam, is the first five seconds, which were MADE for male-stripping/sinterpretive dance.

The warbling rubbernecking ginger finger wiggles this song evokes is just fucking all sorts of hell yes. Alice In Thunderdome, the album that's supposed to drop in August of 2014, might be the rap album of the year if it feels this fucking goofy yet professionally starched collared.

SOMEONE ASK ROB SONIC TO VIDEOTAPE HIMSELF ORDER A BURRITO SO I CAN ADD IT TO MY DREAM JOURNAL.
