The Pacific Northwest is full of gold in the form of artists far too slept on, creating some crazy ass music locals love, but nationally kids are ambien layered to the booms and baps. Fuck the blonde pomped noise made by certain groups, not that I dislike such pomped noise, there's just WAY more here than them and it. Ol'Dominion should ring your fucking bell, and if it doesn't you're a complete asshole who lives in a deep dark radio safe hole. Or you hate the Northwest and America. You terrorist bastards!!

All Your Friends Friends is a compilation which normally for me is strike one because it's hard to make something cohesive when there are 400 different voices on it, but this bias is broken and foot is fully inserted in my big fat mouth. It's less a compilation and more like a family reunion organized and hosted by the thunderous and nimble, sexy fingers and ears of Smoke M2D6, who produced the entire project.

The whole album was birthed threw the wide and glorious hips of K Records samples that Smoke M2D6 was given access to, and the kids those hips squeezed out are badass and rambunctious little bastards.

The Dark Time Sunshine/Grayskul front man Onry Ozzborn is joined on the opener by fellow Ol'D MC Candidit and bros crush the Fuck out of the bouncy ass "Cynic Syndrome" track, setting the tone for what follows on the girthy 19 song album. So girthy, and long but fits just right guys, like it was meant for us only. And Smoke M2D6 is gentle in every turn and transition. Such a gentleman he is.

The adorable Portland by way of Canada Josh Martinez is here to rap croon his way further into our hearts, along with his The Chicharones life partner Sleep. Bros are rapid fire rapping their Latino asses off on "Real Life Game" and have me feeling like dancing my life stresses away, on some space loving, ray bans wearing Tom Cruise, sans pants shit.

If ever there was a song that I knew could be a HIT it's motherfucking "Evolve Away" from the deep soulful voice of Xperience! Jesus, I can't stop listening to this song, and attempting to horribly sing along. Not only is it written perfectly, Smoke went balls deep on the production of this, like he KNEW this was the money making rump shaking golden goose!

I've never heard of ePRHYME who it seems, helped organize this being made as well, and I deserve 30 lashes with a splintered broom stick, because dude can fucking rap! "Trial By Water" with ePRHYME & IAME is existential, indie rap, lyrical beauty. The hook, the melody, and the verses traded are like fucking gloves molded for my fat lumberjack hands, that feel so warm. This is yet another one of those ear worm songs that you find yourself humming.

I honestly can't think of many compilations that I've heard in my entire music loving, obsessive digestion, studying life that I've enjoyed more. It's also introduced me to people I've not checked for from my home turf. Which excites me, and make me feel like a douche at the same time. Case in point, I don't know who the hell Free Whisky is but the "Pizza Chef" (piece of shit) song is some self loathing, emo rap awesomeness. These dudes really bleed those low life woes so well, it reminds me of where I come from, and who I can be.

Don't get me wrong, because I thought Smoke was out of his fucking mind when he created a 19 song compilation with samples from one source. And now, I still think he's nucking futs for producing this gargantuan piece of bliss, but it's a good crazy. The crazy you crave, respect and watch for.

This folks, is only a glimpse into the genius that lives up here. There's more than just California, there's more than just Macklemore, there's more than grunge rock and gentrification. We have some diverse, gifted ass singers and MCs, and we are holding onto one of the finest producers in Smoke M2D6! So why don't you call your friends, I'll call my friend, and we can be friends, while listening to All Your Friends Friends. That's so meta, and mo'betta.
