Tonedeff

I have a thing for Tonedeff. Not like a thing thing, but like a thing thing. I mean. Dude fascinates me. 

I met him when we both competed to perform at Lollapalooza in 2006. He won 1st place, my band won 2nd. He got main stage. We got a smaller stage. We both played Lolla in 2006 and ended up hanging out for a few days there in the Chicago heat. 

What fascinated me was his ability to spin like fifty plates up in his head, and then rap words at a speed I had never heard two feet from my face, but in a manner that was both understandable and holy shit.

Seeing that he's still MURDERING things is fucking inspiring because I love everything the dude stands for. Plus, his haircut is on POINT. "Use Me" is yet another example of a plate I didn't know dude could spin, being spun, using a sung vocal in addition to that trademark "holyshitdudeisspeakingwordsfastasfuckbuticanunderstandallathemtho!". 

I love Tonedeff. Someone hug this motherfucker for me.
