Linafornia

brownies

Late last week, I wrote up beat-queen Linafornia's new track, "brownies". But what I didn't know what that Linafornia curates visuals for each new track she hits us over the head with. These little animated doodads are the result of, "Too much adult swim." Her words. My head nodding in agreement and guilt.

Linafornia is from LA's heartbeat and possible nervous system of the black community, Leimert Park.

"Down in Leimert Park hanging with the hooligans. Every now and then I gotta takem back to school again." - Aceyalone.

She's charming the ear drums off of everyone and brings all that energy and passion to her live performances. The build-ups, the stops, the slam backs, the change ups all while her fingers and her hair have a competition on who is wilding out the most.

The visuals were curated by Yung VJ Omo and find a cartoon Lina head floating above them biscuits on the rise though.

"brownies" is young Lina's latest track from her almost mythical unreleased (as of yet) full-length project tentatively titled, YUNG. "brownies" is a crunchy, oozing, buttery square of chocolate deliciousness. And the snacks are bomb too. She got me peeping the recipe for sure.
