Weird and exciting news alert:  Track Marks staples The Hood Internet have announced they'll be releasing an album of original sample free music on September 18th. Weird is the wrong word I suppose. Let me rephrase it by saying it is "unexpected". The Hood Internet are SO DAMN GOOD at what they do, creating gender bending original mind melds from painfully played out songs (I'm looking at you Tyga!) it pains me to see them branch out into the great unknown. They've been resuscitating popular music for so long I've become spoiled. They're gifted dudes so it only makes sense that they want to leave their own original mark on the world of music. I need to accept that and embrace "FEAT" when it drops in September. They've proved themselves to be skilled producers so I should have little doubt that the album will be the tits.

For now I'll simply stream their soundcloud nonstop and prep my mind to the reality that when they embark on their summer tour (that everyone should hit!) that the epic dance party will be a mixed bag of mash up bangers and unknown but expectedly killer new material.
