I don't really have much to day this week. It's been kind of a boring week and I am in that lazy "summer is upon us" head space where I mostly want to kick back with a cold beer, a pool and a boom box full of banging tunes. Which is something I do not do enough.
....shit, I barely listen to music outside of headphones these days and when I do it is usually in the car with the family so the radio is on bumping insipid boring bullshit like Justin Timberlake's Mirrors (which has been clinically proven to suck the joy and excitement out of any and all situations) and that monotonous bullshit Next To Me (which was obviously written for the same people that own "Hang In There' posters, buy fireman calendars and watch lifetime movies un-ironically).
There is something awesome about bumping music loud and in a crowd (sorry about that hacky rhyme) that gives it a new life and meaning. It is no longer an inward pursuit it is atmosphere, coloring...
