The Wallies drop new single Sex On a Sunday! THIS IS DRANKIN MUSICS!

Pressed And know their way around a vibe. They know how to reach into your soul and fiddle around like some dirty Italian auto mechanic fixing your college beater and keeping you rolling along. This despite the fact that your catalytic converter is being held open with a screw driver and 4 or 5 screws are still siting on the floor of his garage.
Their debut EP, Imbued Up, was a soaring batch of bedroom production that sounded like you were being force fed salami on the Riviera at some swanky dinner party being thrown by a Bond villain name Harold Muholland of the Luxembourg Muhollands; which was fine because you love cured meats, exotic locales and a great spy thriller.
Really, who doesn't?
With Hyper Thistle these adorable bag of dicks have made the leap. They broke their own mold and went all pottery wheel in this bitch. I am not sure of they are Patrick Swayze spooning Demi Moore in this situation or I am, but I am sure someone is spooning someone and that there is a sweaty erection touching the small of someone's back.
Mmmmmm. Sweaty and moldy erections!1
Pressed And has gone from soaring sounds to a more intimate style that dabbles in textures and feels that are much more tangible and ultimately more rewarding.
Hyper Thistle feels more personal, not to the band but to the listener. They have managed to tap into something a bit more primal and universal this time out. Gone are the exotic drinks and sliders made from endangered species' meat, and in are the swirling guitars and the vocals that pop in and out, which remind you of the summer you spent with that exchange student eating designer drugs and having outdoor sex. The whole thing feels sweaty and humid. Like something you can latch on to and wrestle to the ground.
In a lot of ways it doesn't so much sound like the memories you want but the memories you have. It is tangible and personal and chances are it will resonate more with you because of this.
