There is nothing scarier than when a producer who is known for one genre, traipses inside the confines of another. It's sort of like when Michael Jordan strapped on a baseball glove and gave America's game a shot.
It isn't that we don't think he'd succeed, it's just a bit strange for a second.
So then Maker, who is one of hip hop and Chicago's most revered (and hugged) producers, sends me a link to his latest single titled Face Down, and then proceeds to tell me it's from his new trap EP.
