The (angel) dust has finally settled on one of the most epic dance parties that the West Side of LA has ever seen. Screw this Hatfield/McCoy Eastside vs Westside hubris....This was the biggest brightest and also dankest dance parties the likes of which ALL of LA has has ever seen. Kudos to The Central, Gotta Dance Dirty & DANCEiSM!'s Versus Thursdays for bringing the thunder.
The show was one big piece of badass. A piece of badass? WTF does that mean? Obviously The show rocked my brain and there's considerable rsidual damage. I still can't complete full sentences. I will say this: It was totally worth walking into my apartment at 3am with a sweat soaked shirt and a need for an extra strength Valtrex prescription. shit got dirty. Tricks are for kids...and Versus Thursdays. Below the jump are the quick fix text and a youtube clip from that eventful night. For those of you who missed it: there were so many tasty hard remixes of M83, Daft Punk, and even god damned New Order! How does it feel? So dirty. So sweaty! So good.
"Faces and bodies were melted during their set. this was one helluva epic dance party and I need to wind down somehow. The Westside, normally so stoic, got down so HARD thanks to Destructo, Digitalism, and the powers that be @ The Central. God bless you Gotta Dance Dirty & DANCEiSM! Your Versus Thursdays are saving lives and makiing babies..at times both on stage."
