Blisses B is one of the 2011 SYFFAL sexy. They've impressed us with their indie preciousness on their album Thirty Days, Sixty Years, and as our latest Pop Cultures Collide submission they completely blow us over with a little retro-Nickelodeon sass. For those who didn't have the pleasure of growing up with Hey, Dude, it was quite possibly one of the worst examples of tween television. What was so brutal about it, was also what made it so addictingly awesome. Besides a catchy and brief twangkle of a themesong, it also is the show that introduced Christine Taylor to many of our masturbatory fantasies.
A Word From Blisses B
We chose this tune because we are all grew up in the 90's, and the song had some twang in it...and we as a band have twang in spades. We really wanted something with three part vocals to it also, and thus we came up with "Hey Dude"
