Sure, it is nice that Black Books put Syffal ahead of their first ever LP, their hopes, and their dreams, BUT I’ve been holding in my pee in until I can hear some new songs!
….and it is starting to sting.
Their kick ass Cardigans' cover will hold us over for now. I will allow myself to release 3 dribblets during this magnificent and re-worked chorus for Lovefool.
A Word From Black Books
If Romeo + Juliet hadn't come out when we were angst-ridden middle schoolers it may not have meant so much to us... but it did, and we ate that shit up. There's no denying that ridiculous soundtrack. Since we started playing music together when this was all over MTV, we decided to cover The Cardigans' Lovefool.
They made us want to fall madly in love... and then kill ourselves.
