The Wallies drop new single Sex On a Sunday! THIS IS DRANKIN MUSICS!

So last week I was listening to my favorite new podcast The World And Why With Dizzo and finding myself generally amused by his stony charms, when he decided to cut to a track from his guest. A guest I had all along assumed was some sort of rapper, because that's who the Fuck goes on that show (and as some sort of rapper, a former one, I hope to find my way to Albany to get on that fucker soon). So as I was getting ready to tune out I was so clobbered over my head by the funk/jazz fusion I heard that I had to start over again and find out more about who the Fuck this guest was.
It turned out that it was PJ Katz a multi instrumentalist and mind behind the group Papa Nucc. If I was to describe his sound, at least what I heard, it was sort of DJ Shadow meets Headhunters and Thrust era Herbie Hancock.
If you like that unique brand of funk/jazz grounded heavily in the Hammond B-3 and Fender Rhodes this will be right up your alley. It is the type of music that causes your head to nod, midsection to thrust with some swivel and liver cry from the alcohol and mushrooms it is forced to process.
Dabbling in a smoothness often reserved for velour jackets and leather pants, this fucker has the nerve to make songs like Rock On, by Michael Damian seem menacing, sensual and most of all good.
He even has the nerve to cover the worst Christmas song of all time, This Christmas, and make it so delicious that you might find a pantless Santa passed out under your tree after a long night of too many cookies, too much eggnog and just a hint of reindeer games... if you catch my drift.
