Two years after their last successful album, I And Love And You, The Avett Brothers have finally graced our ears with a single for their upcoming new album, The Carpenter, called Live and Die.

With the guidance of producer, Rick Rubin, The Avett Brothers have released a slice of musical heaven with Live and Die. This track is a wonderful, good ol' fashioned love song that reminds me why I fell in love with this band in the first place. The sound reminds me a lot of I And Love And You (more produced then their other albums, Emotionalism and A Carolina Jubilee) and contains the same poppy awesomeness (thanks Rick Rubin) that made their last album so successful. Banjo and fiddle solos with a bit of a jazz drumming make this a beautiful track to preview their new (and most likely breathtaking) album.

I wanna love you with more, Avett Brothers. I really do.

Their sixth album, The Carpenter, will be released on September 11.
