I am the first person to make fun of Joel and Del for their obsessive love of all things Radiohead and it's not that I dislike Radiohead, I actually find them to be pretty great. For me they are just one of those bands I have to be in the mood to check for, pretty much the same way I approach white people in general. So when Joel and Del get all clanging swords₁ over those fuckers it is my natural tendency to mock and mock hard. It’s my default setting for all zealots.

Speaking of Default, have you heard the new song Default by Thom Yorke's side project Atoms For Peace? Holy Fuck it's good. Like really fucking good. It made my morning when I came into SYFFAL HQ and the video popped up in my inbox.₂

Sort of glitchy, sort of dark, a little Real World London dance clubby, and all awesome. It has been on repeat since I sat at my desk. I get giddy every time I hear that Donkey Kong-esque synth in the beginning, when the synth bass kicks in I get full restless legs syndrome going. Thom's voice cuts through the electronics and gives me those butterflies that make you feel like you might pee or cum, never can tell which is gonna happen. By the time the triangle clanks at the 2:28 mark I have a hard rubbery one going. This made my fucking day.
