Chris Staples - Park Bench: Before I start diving into this month's songs I need to give a shout out to my on-line DJing friend Cello for sparking my love for 3 or 4 songs on this list. Park Bench has that awesome guitar picking and tapping that's so Americana it makes me want to drive down a country road, windows open, with a cold can of Schlitz pinched between my legs.

Klangstof - We Are Your Receiver: This band is a perfect blend of Eur-a-peein' dreaminess and has only 4 songs out right now. I had a hard time choosing which of the 4 songs to feature this month because they're all so perfect. All their shit is on Spotify and Soundcloud; go get obsessed right now.

Har Mar Superstar - Youth Without Love: Wait. What? A new Har Mar album dropped in April and was produced by Julian Casablancas? Where the fuck have I been? I swear, if this guy didn't look like Ron Jeremy he'd be a global superstar.

Whitney - Red Moon: I haven't reviewed any albums this July because I'm obsessed with this Whitney album. I can't quit it. After many listens though, I can conclude that this track...the shortest track on the album without lyrics....is my favorite. It's also is the reason why I listen to the album in a 3 piece suit and top hat.

The Amazing - Tracks: Another Eur-a-peein band that makes my mind wander to far off places that for some reason don't have gravity. The Amazing put out one of my favorite albums a couple of years ago and just released a new album (Ambulance) a couple of weeks ago. And although I still like the first one more; Ambulance is a must listen....if you like that floating sensation.

Teenage Fan Club - I'm In Love: I don't know why but I picture this song being in a Farrelly brothers movie. It's a little corny and sweet at the same time....and catchy as fuck.

Drugdealer - Suddenly (feat. Weyes Blood): I'm not sure what draws me to such weird music. Maybe it's my love for the crazy Brian Wilson shit. Sure this song definitely reminds me of Brian Wilson, but it jumps into some 70's disco shit and then adapts some killer 80's sax. It's a generation of weird packed into one amazing track.

Sweet Spirit - Baby When I Close My Eyes: Seriously, What is going on with all the strange videos this month? A puppet peeing on a pregnancy test? Who thinks this stuff up? I'll tell you who: AMAZING PEOPLE.

Hush Moss - Slowly Disappear: Okay, this is similar to that Drugdealer track above, but less trippy. Did I mention that I'm a sucker for some sax?

How To Dress Well - Lost Youth/Lost Youth: Be patient because this song packs on the feelz toward the end.
