Alpha MC - Still Bangin

There isn’t much in this world that I like more than a rap song that makes me instantly nod my head and make the scrunched up “this is nasty” face. It seems to happen fewer and farther in between these days, so when it does happen I immediately take notice. The beat for the song Still Bangin from Alpha MC is exactly the kind of thunder clapping beat that makes my involuntary neck muscles go ape shit.

On top of that Alpha MC is a very capable, very skilled MC. Dude is fucking nasty. His verses on the track are full of braggadocio and cleverly written rhymes that include excellent patterns and flows.

I am so jealous of this stanza. I wish I wrote it in my heyday:

Cause I’m still bangin, what’s up no questions/
my skills be out weighing my dope dressin/
bill paying gets tough but no stressin/
I chill blazing that skunk no resin

Fuck! That is some good rap right there.
