Pyyramids : Human Beings EP : Album Review : Indie : Electro Rock

If a chick starts singing in my two holes and she sounds like either Mazzy Star or the chick from the Cowboy Junkies wearing a strap on, I'm fucking sold. If you haunt me, tease me, arouse me, and then finafuckingly scream at my dumb ass, I will tell the fucking world.

Pyyramids (TWO Y'S BRUH!) have this chick singer and due to her successful mastery of casual intensity on the Human Beings EP, I'm stuck wondering how in Del's name does this woman sleep at night. It's like the old male adage "If I had tits I'd never leave the house", if I had this chick's pipes I would sing 24 hours a fucking day.

Nearly speak-singing, her voice doesn't sound like she's trying too hard, but it's in this kind of flighty disinterest that she totally pulls the music into the category of fucking perfect. The song Don't Go starts from staring off into space to a Little Dragon type of longing and desperation that fits snug up against my waistband like a high school erection.

I love the intense electro elements accompanied by the lazy drawl of Drea Smith (who I found out is just as into me as I'm into her), but what I can't get over is the combination of the production and the vocals causing me many many erections.

Someone tell these peoples I loves thems. Plurals.

OK FINE I WILL TELLS THEMS.

PYYRAMIDS, I LOVES YOU'D.
